Indoor TrackWorkout 6 x 800
These track workouts are always a double edged sword. They are nice because you get a break from the cold outside and you get to wear short, so mentally, I think thats a great thing. Its also a good way to check your progress and see how true to yourself you are. There is no room for cheating when you stay focussed on your run and other people are counting on your pace. Its a great lesson in personal honesty. The downside of the track workout is this getting up at the unbelievable hour of 4:15 a.m. I never seem to get to bed early enough the night before. My fault for sure. Need to be more disciplined in that area. But, when I get there and see everyone else there too, and the workout is complete, its all worth it. Now, workout #2 today is swimming. Going to push for 50 laps (100 lengths-1 mile 14 laps). Lets see how well I do. Alright Mr. Pool, bring it on.
