All Aboard
Lots of last minute packing, dinner and then we were headed downtown to the train. Good ol' Union Station. Ian and I were taking the 9:25 train out of Chicago to Boston. We got our tickets and headed to the lounge where we waited for our all aboard call. Met another guy and his wife, also heading to Boston to run the race. Said good-bye to John. Won't see him til Sunday after our 5k. Ian and I will be two explorers until he gets there and joins us. So, once we started our journey we met two people on the train from Lake Placid, NY. Amy and her son Liam. Very nice people. They were returning from their trip to New Mexico. We are hoping that we will catch up with them again tomorrow. We wen to bed at 10:30 to the gentle swaying of the train. This is already starting off as one fantastic journey.
Slept well through the night. Just happened to wake up at 5:25 in Cleveland OH. I guess that my body thought it was time to go for a run. I knew it was Cleveland because when I looked out the window there was some advertisement for kids to join and become a fan of the Cleveland Browns. Not sure how far we were away from the stadium.
