6.2 miles Temp 18 degrees Snow Falling, Icy Streets, Yak Tracks Time of Run: 7:00 a.m.
Absolutely beautiful morning. Woke up to light snow falling and covering the streets. It was heavy enough to stick on the branches and provide a beautiful winter morning. John came with me on the bike. Not sure how he managed to ride down the street, but he did and didn't slip once. It was nice to have him with me. First time of the year wearing yak-tracks. They did a good job of keeping my feet steady. Don't recall wearing them so early in the winter season but they sure helped today. Roads were pretty good and the wind was minimal which was nice. Later on in the day it turned really nasty with freezing winds. Always makes me feel a bit warmer when I see that type of weather from inside my house where I am warm and dry. One thing for sure, we are one day closer to Spring.
