The Marathon Expo
We got up early and had breakfast at the hotel. A great breakfast buffet with a beautiful view of the ocean. The temperature outside was mild but the wind was crazy strong making it seem colder than it really was. So, we bundled up and headed to the T. Picked up our bb numbers for the 5k and marathon then proceeded to boost the Boston economy by spending some money. Bought the traditional jacket and a couple of other things. Watched the course preview video in case I am the lead runner. Hahahaha. It was so crowded. We were there for a couple of hours then made our way home. Took a 2 hour nap and headed back to Quincy market for some more chowder. Soup in a bread bowl was a great warm up. Ian and I went to Palm Sunday mass at St. Leonard in little Italy. Found a pizza place for some dinner then headed back to the hotel for some swimming. Finally, off to bed early. This is the most important night for sleep.
