54 degrees and windy
Slept in today because my run was later in the afternoon. Today was my very last run in Chicago. It was also Ian's last run before Boston. We headed out on the prairie path East. Weather was warm about 54 degrees but the wind put a chill in the air. Ian did a great job on his 3 miles. In fact, that little stinker sprinted the last quarter mile. So proud of how far he has come. It was a different kind of feeling today knowing that the next time I run will be in Boston. Nervous and excited at the same time. Today one of my good friends "Boston", Nancy stopped by to wish me luck. Ran Boston with her last year. An amazing runner and an even better friend. Watching her run and trying to keep up with her has made me a better runner. I'll never forget meeting up with her in Boston. It was so awesome to experience this race for the first time with such a great friend.
